During the 2015 Refugee crisis due to the Wars in Libya, and Syria and ISIS jihadist terrorism in Iraq, the EU implemented a Refugee quota among its member countries under the Open Border Policy to accommodate refugees from the war-torn countries. Despite so stiff opposition from the member countries then German Chancellor Angela Merkel pushed it through by lobbying with other countries.
Germany and France had been mapped for the highest intake of refugees. This opened the floodgates for the illegal refugee inflow into Europe.
Till 2022, Europe had a population of 446.7 million. Out of it 23.8 million were non-EU citizens and 38 million were not born in the EU as per the European Commission data.

6. Hirsi Ruling - The death knell of the European Society
EU and Italy created a proxy force in the early 2010s to do what they could not do themselves without openly violating international laws, to intercept unwanted migrants and return them to Libya. They used a shadow force under the guise of LIBYAN COST GUARDS, which in fact was a hired group of ex-terrorists, mercenaries, and ex smugglers, and traffickers which were used for capturing the illegal refugees coming from Africa through the Mediterranean Sea route and to send them back to Libya.
The strategy has relied on maintaining deniability of responsibility for Libyan coastguard operations.
The Mediterranean is the theatre were tensions between Europe’s ideas of human rights clashes with continental politicians’ anxiety about African migration. 1. European society was never ready for a cultural shock but thanks to the Left Neo-Liberal Think Tanks, NGOs, and Politicians European Union went all out to accommodate the refugees who were alien to the open society and norms of Europe.
2. The US created wars and left behind the mess of refugees to be sorted by its vassal states in Europe who failed themselves miserably to control the influx of the UNHRC registered refugees and illegal refugees also mainly post Hirsi judgment by the European Human Rights Court. This led to the gross misuse of the UN Geneva Convention for refugees provisions of the refoulment.
3. Lack of a proper refugee rehabilitation framework and refugee cultural assimilation education infrastructure led to unforeseen crime waves in almost all parts of Europe except eastern European countries which are trying to come to the socioeconomic level of southwest and Central Europe so they are not a preferred refugee asylum seeking host country.
4. The US has fleeced Europe for its proxy war in Ukraine against Russia and now Europe is on the brink of the recession while Euro Zone is already in recession. So dwindling socio-economic situation along with the sudden influx of millions of Ukrainian refugees supplemented with refugee inflow due to the Sudan crisis has just brought the house down in Europe.
