A fair value gap is simply the gap between 3 candles.
It signals DISPLACEMENT (an aggressive movement in price)
Displacement = Fair Value Gaps.
These displacements show us the INTENTION of price giving us the next likely direction it will trade in.
FVGs can be found on ay timeframes.
Combine it with ORDERFLOW and a proper understanding of timeframes and you will 10x your winrate.

There are two classification of Fair Value Gaps✌️
🟢A BISI or Buyside Imbalance, Sellside Inefficiency.
🔴A SIBI or Sellside Imbalance, Buyside Inefficiency.

Fair Value Gaps make other PD Arrays HIGH-PROBABILITY!
FVGs show the TRUE intention of price and signal institutional sponsorship.
OBs, Breakers, Mitigation Blocks are all lower probability if there is no FVG present.

->Swing High
->Fair Value Gap

For BISIs, you can use their highs for entry and stop on a swing low.
For SIBIs, you can use their lows of entry and stop on a swing high.

Fair Value Gaps FAIL when price closes ABOVE or BELOW it.⚠️
If price closes below a BISI, it is more likely to fail.
Same goes for a SIBI. If price closes above a SIBI, it is also likely to fail.
This is where we stop using them and wait for more price action. x.com

FVGs that are left unfilled are called BREAKAWAY GAPS
Breakaway gaps form when the third candle of the fair value gap closes ABOVE or BELOW the second candle.
Breakaway gaps are not expected to get filled until the DOL has been met
