I write this thread with a heavy heart about what's going on in the UK: The major culprits in the UK's current turmoil over immigration, crime, and Anti-Muslim Hatred are clear to me: Muslim community leaders and the UK government. Both have roles in exacerbating or potentially resolving these issues. As an Arab and Muslim from the birthplace of Islam, Saudi Arabia🇸🇦, I feel compelled to address some nuanced challenges within the Muslim community in the UK.

2️⃣-🔟: I was invited to speak at the EU🇪🇺 Parliament in December 2019, shortly before Brexit🇬🇧 was enacted, where I argued that the far left policies of European countries are a primary cause of Islamophobia, not the right wing. It's due to short-sighted policies that make the majority of their citizens have unfavorable feelings towards the Muslim community because of enacted laws that seem to give them immunity and due to grievance politics.

3️⃣-🔟: Integration is a primary concern, with some community members showing a lack of appreciation for the UK🇬🇧, their host country. There's also the issue of exploiting the victimization narrative, which does more harm than good.
More troubling is the deliberate breaking of laws, like public prayers on streets or involvement in criminal activities without community leaders unequivocally condemning these actions. Allegiance to radical groups like the Muslim Brotherhood and provocative interpretations of Islam add fuel to the fire.

4️⃣-🔟: On the flip side, the UK🇬🇧 government has its share of responsibility. They've allowed Islamist radicals like Saad Alfaqeeh, a US🇺🇸-sanctioned terrorist linked to Al-Qaeda, to reside in London and spread hate against the West. Also encouraging Jihad against Non-Muslims through his popular platforms, including a TV channel in the UK. This freedom seems disproportionately granted to minorities, suggesting a double standard in application of British liberties. This is one of numerous examples.

5️⃣-🔟: Another UK🇬🇧/Western issue is labeling anyone advocating for stringent immigration laws as "far-right" or "xenophobic".
Asking for a rational, common-sense approach to immigration policy isn't extremist; it's about preserving culture and ensuring harmony within society. People have a right to ask for laws that reflect the community's values.

While the UK🇬🇧 is helping them and receiving them, facilitating their rise as "Muslim community leaders" where they teach hatred towards the UK, and encouraging them to make riots and crimes directly and indirectly. These are merely facts that no one can ever deny.
