The Notes app is one of Apple's most powerful tools.
But 80% of users only use it at a basic level.
Here are 10 amazing things your Notes app can do: x.com
1/ Protect a note with a password. x.com
2/ Document Scanning
Press and hold the Notes app until a menu appears.
Select Scan Documents from the options.
Capture your documents and tap Save to store them. x.com
3/ Create a Password-Protected Note
Open your note, tap the "..." menu, and select Lock.
For the first setup, choose to use your iPhone's passcode or set a custom one (note: custom codes cannot be recovered if forgotten).
Your note is now secured and requires Face ID or a passcode to access.
4/ Save a Note as PDF (Hidden Feature)
Open the note and tap the Share icon. Under the title, select Collaborate.
Tap Collaborate, then choose Send a Copy. Scroll up and select Markup to preview your note as a PDF.

5/ Turn Notes into a Shared To-Do App
Create your list in the Notes app.
Tap the Share button.
Make sure Collaborate is selected.

Once the hashtag turns yellow, the tag is active.

8/ Enable Quick Notes for Instant Jotting
Go to Settings > Control Center > Add Quick Note.
Swipe down to open the Control Center, tap the Quick Note button, and a blank note will appear over your current app for quick access.

Go to Settings.

10/ Smart Annotation (Beta) with Apple Pencil
Tap the document to enter annotation mode.
Choose a pen, highlighter, or other tools from the toolbar.
Annotations will move along with text or objects.
Select your desired colour (varies by application).
Use the Eraser tool to remove any marks.
