it's a natural human reaction to feel unproductive when not doing anything which leads to forced trades, which is why most traders remain at breakeven for a prolonged duration.
their system actually works but they don't know when and when not to trade
there needs to be a -

realisation that trade opportunities are not actually frequent, the less traders trade and spend watching charts actively trading the better they do, its a weird paradox that shows human psychology -

so when traders don't see a suitable trade they will force one instead of closing the charts, its okay if you don't see a trade
this can be very uncomfortable -

you ever get that feeling when you can't see a trade that you are 'losing your skill' or 'your system doesn't work anymore' so you take a trade to try and prove yourself right (which fails)
then a couple days later its easy again.....funny right
