It's a small sample size. But the progress is clearly there.

One criticism that has been levelled towards United is also their struggle to create chances.
Last season, the player that had the highest xG per 90 for United was Hojlund, and he was ranked 52nd in the league for that metric.
This season, both Zirkzee and Garnacho are 2nd and 3rd, with only Haaland having more chances per 90 than those 2.
Clear levels of progress in this area too.
When we have someone more clinical, like Hojlund on the end of these chances, he could get very good numbers this season.
