There is consensus among the Salaf that the prophetﷺ is the seal of prophethood, from the Qur'an; with its multiple readings and the Sunnah. Whoever claimed Nubuwa after him is a Murtad kafir with anyone that believed him.
Al-Imam al-Tabari [RA] said:
1/11
"Muhammad is not the father of any one of your men, but he is the Messenger of God and the Seal of the Prophets. And God has knowledge of everything" (33:40).
The interpretation is that Allah, may He be exalted, says: O people, Muhammad was not the father of Zayd ibn Harithah
nor the father of any of your men who were not born from him, such that marrying his wife after their separation would be prohibited for him. Rather, he is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets, the one who concluded prophethood and therefore sealed upon it,
such that it will not be reopened for anyone after him to the Day of Judgment. And Allah has knowledge of everything you do and say, and of other matters as well; nothing is hidden from Him.
There is a variation among the reciters regarding the reading of the phrase
"Seal of the Prophets" (خاتم النبيين). The reciters of the major cities, except for Al-Hasan and 'Asim, read it with a kasra (a short vowel "i") under the letter (ta) as in "خاتِم", meaning: "He sealed the prophets." It is mentioned that this was in recitation of Abdullah
(Ibn Mas'ud) in this way: "But a prophet who sealed the prophets."(وَلَكِنَّ نَبِيًّا خَتَمَ النَّبيِّينَ). This [reading] is evidence for the correctness of the reading with the kasra under the (ta), implying that he is the one who sealed (concluded) the prophets,
peace be upon him and upon them.
It has been reported also that Al-Hasan and 'Asim recited it as "خَاتَم" (with a fatḥa, a short vowel "a" on the ta), meaning: "the last of the prophets."
This is similar to how the verse "Its seal is musk" (مَخْتُومٌ خَاتَمَهُ مِسْكٌ) is read, meaning: its end is musk, by those who recite it in this way.
I say to Qadianis: find a job or do something with your lives because this kind of absurdity in reasoning and sophistry
is not going to take anyone anywhere. I feel embarrassed to even respond to nonsense like this from people drowning in an inferiority complex. My advice to them is that if you truly believe in your blasphemous religion, so be it. Why do you want to associate with Islam?
If you believe your kafir zindeeq was a prophet, then have your own religion and scripture. Stop making a mockery of yourselves by trying to be included where you are not welcome. Believing in false prophets brings nothing but mockery and humiliation,
and that’s what you will receive from Muslims until the end of time.
