A Thread of Surprising Facts, Tiny Details, and Clever Tricks That Make Movies Unforgettable

Important Note : Before you comment "That's not an M1 Garand, that's an M1903A4 springfield!"
keep in mind that : When they raid the machine gun nests that kills the medic, jackson switches off with Uphaman and uses his M1.
It's easy to miss but when they ambush the German halftrack, Jackson has Uphamn's Garand again and presumably used a Garand at other times. As well, his training would have been with a Garand and that kind of bruise doesn't disappear overnight.
I share this trivia to admire the meticulous attention to detail they put into the movie.
