Begin with al-Wāsitiyyah, al-Hamawiyyah, at-Tadmuriyyah, then move to the earlier works of the Salaf, which are many. You can study them with a knowledgeable teacher or on your own if you have a solid foundational understanding of Aqeeda after reading the simplified basics.

I am not saying you must read All of them, but it is better for the Muslim to familiarize themselves with the works of the Imams, especially now that it became easier to study them with shuruh.
Once you have attained an advanced level of proficiency and firmness in the creed of Ahl al-Sunnah, thoroughly understanding its principles and distinctive features, you can then delve into the more sophisticated works of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah.
These texts critically refute the foundations of the innovators (mubtadi'ah), engage in detailed discussions exposing their flaws, and trace their erroneous principles back to Greek philosophy, demonstrating their contradictions to the rational and textual evidences
of the magnificent religion of Islam. Among these seminal works are:
-Bayān Talbīs al-Jahmiyyah fī Ta'sīs Bid'ihim al-Kalāmiyyah (The Clarification of the Deception of the Jahmiyyah in Establishing their Kalami Innovations),
-Minhāj al-Sunnah al-Nabawiyyah (The Prophetic Methodology),
-Dar' Ta'āruḍ al-'Aql wa al-Naql (Averting the Conflict between Reason and Revelation).
Wallahu 'Alam.
