The essence of this snide remark lies in the context where, following Parshuram's annihilation of the Kshatriyas, the Kshatriya women, yearning for sons, went to the sages who bestowed upon them male offspring. Thus, these sons emerged as Kshatriyas in their own right.
There exists a misguided assertion among the stratum lacking historical importance that contemporary Rajputs/Kshatriyas are merely the progeny of a Brahmin father and a Kshatriya mother, thus suggesting a lineage of Niyog origin.
The entirety of this narrative is meticulously chronicled in Mahabharata, (Shanti Parva, Chapter 49) where the entire account has been revealed unto Maharaja Yudhishthir by Shri Krishna.
In this section, as the narrative unfolds, it is noteworthy that Shri Krishna does not assert that the current Kshatriyas, who inhabit the present age, are the progeny of a Brahmin father and a Kshatriya mother following the annihilation of all Kshatriyas by Parshuram.
Regardless of their genuine origins, the ‘Jatharas’ are most probably deemed extinct in contemporary times and have never been linked or associated with the Rajputs/Kshatriyas at any point in history.
It can therefore be deduced that the idea of Rajputs/Kshatriyas having a Niyoga origin is nothing more than a fanciful tale lacking any solid proof, and the Rajputs/Kshatriyas of today are truly of unblemished lineage.
