On the Debate around the Existence of God.
There is no field of investigation (biology, history, neuroscience, cosmology, chemistry, physics, geology etc) that can 'prove' the existence of 'Allah' (not the primer mover or a deistic god) in a "logically necessitating" manner.
Any deductive argument built on/through any humanly philosophical or scientific disciplines of investigation can only "point towards" the existence of God (to oversimplify and explain in quantifiable forms) with a probabilistic certainty of 80-90%.
For the very claims of Quran regarding the tripartite Faith-Test-Signs dynamic to work and take place - there has to exist a grey area in accessing God through human epistemology. There are deliberate gaps between the extent of philosophical & scientific investigation and an
evidence that "logically necessitates" the existence of Allah for every human being - and these gaps allow the Quranic Faith-Test-Signs dynamic to work.
For a complete explanation of this position and how I reached/formed stance, you can read my paper.
