2⃣📍In response, #Poland is strengthening its eastern border. Deputy Defense Minister Pavel Beida said that the number of troops on the eastern border will be increased from 6,000 to 8,000 people, and an additional rearguard of 9,000 people can be deployed within 48 hours.
3⃣📍In May, #Poland announced a $2.5 billion Eastern Shield program to strengthen defenses along the border with #Belarus and #Russia. Completion of the program is scheduled for 2028.
