The backdrop of all this was the year 1573 when Raja Man Singh (then Kunwar) visited Mewar to seek its submission to the Mughal Emperor. They greeted each other with great congeniality.
Now, according to some chronicles, or to be precise, “BARDIC TALES”, Maharana Pratap refused to sit or dine with Kunwar Man Singh at the same place, calling Kunwar a traitor and an outcaste. In return, Kunwar Man Singh threatened Maharana of dure consequences and left the place.
But none of this was ever mentioned in any of the contemporary or eye witness account. This also questions the credibility of the whole episode.
Renowned historians like Dr. Raghubir Singh, Sir Jadunath Sarkar, Gopinath Sharma, JM Shelat, RC Majumdar, Dr. Bhawan Singh Rana have dismissed this fantasy of a story. Reason, absence of contemporary or eyewitness account.

Amarkavya Vanshavali was written after 1665 AD, Raj Prashasti is dated around 1676 AD, Rawal Ranaji ri Vat is dated around 1691 AD, Raj Ratnakar is dated around 1670 AD, Nainsi ri Khyat is dated around 1700s, Sawai Jai Singh Charita by Kavi Atmaram isn't contemporary either.
Only Jagannath Rai Prashasti, a source which is earlier than the sources mentioned in previous tweet, dated around 1652 AD doesn't mentions any such feast.
Thus, after a thorough anatomization of all points, it can be safely concluded that the story of Maharana Pratap disrespecting Raja Man Singh is completely false and is an invention of later times and anyone claiming to “dEbOnK” this thread is just dumb wh0r€-crying.
