PM Modi's pursuit of a third term was fraught with challenges, particularly due to well-organized foreign interference. While we are familiar with the 'ecosystem', significant new dimensions and actors have emerged, overlapping to the political dynamics of the United States.

There was a massive surge in the anti-Modi , anti-govt narrative during Apr-May'24, just before/during GE. These activities were carried out in two separate (but complementary) formats:
(a) organising events, lectures, semi/webinars by certain West orgs or NGOs and then amplified by associated entities, online & social media space;
2/

(b) publishing critical write-ups OpEd in prominent international publications in a regular manner. Just to feel the amplitude, 175+ articles were published by The Guardian, Washington Post, Bloomberg, NYT, France 24,etc., during April-May 2024)

WaPo broke all records of the obsession of covering Indian election. For a test- "Modi" and "election" key word between 1st Feb to 31st May'24 gives 412 results. Its same publication where COVID fund alleged scammer Rana Ayyub contributes.
But the point is not just coverage.

Another stream of Anti-Modi , anti-govt narrative is established by certain orgs and NGOs. e.g. § Hindus for Human Rights, Friends for Democracy, Global Witness, Council on Foreign Relations, Digital Witness Lab, Global Project Against Hate and Extremism.

You can check the entire list of USA and UK based orgs and NGOs here. Few of them are quite familiar where our Indian-based left friends often travel and participate.
Readers are requested to spend a min and go through all names, at least once.

This inter-connected USA/EU based entities have built a reputation among intelligentsia by raising the issues like democratic values, media freedom, religious/ethnic discrimination, human-rights, corruption, etc. in very selective manner across world, as per their agenda.

Interestingly, the same network is noted to be largely an Anti-Republican and has been actively involved in propaganda against President Donald Trump too.

Remember, "Friends of Democracy" organised a series of seminars with likes of Sagarika Ghose ?
And an Anti-Trump campaign by "Avaaz" foundation?
Both are brain-child of Ricken Patel.

Take another example: "Platform for Indian Democracy" (literally :-()
A survey was published by PID, and conducted by GQR company. It is led by Senior Partners, Greenberg, Elizabeth Sena and Lindsey Reynolds. Guess what? All three are Democratic Pollsters.

There are several such examples like this with community in Anti-India, Anti-BJP, Anti-Trump and Anti-Rep, conducted and funded by the same actors.
I'm not quoting all those examples, else this thread will be endless.

The majority of these orgs are funded by George Soros’s OSF, Ford Foundation, and Omidyar Network, in order.
e.g. Platform for Indian Democracy is chaired by Salil Shetty is funded by Soros. I'm sure you remember him from the recent Bharat Jodo Yatra!!

In the last 3-4 months these same orgs blasted PM Modi and BJP with subjects:
- Backsliding of democracy under the BJP
- Authoritarianism by PM Modi
- Blatant use of agencies to target the oppsn
- Backsliding secularism; Hindu, Hinduism, Hindutva, nationalism
- Discrimination against the religious minorities
- Media freedom
- Caste equations

Get familiar with the popular names (USA based):
- Hindus for Human Rights (HfHR): Sunita Vishwanath
- India Hate Lab: Raqib Hamid Naik
- Friends of Democracy: Ricken Patel
- Global Project Against Hate and Extremism: Wendy Via & Heidi Beirich
- Digital Witness Lab: Surya Mattu.

These orgs have a strong ecosys in the US, however, they lack similar setup in Europe/UK. Therefore, work is going on to establish EU branches. The London Story, Netherlands; HfHR, YK; Platform for Indian Democracy, UK, The Citizen, UK.

Take a glance of the events organised by Tier-1 parties and propagate by Tier-2 associates. Similar it goes to Tier-3 layer who are foot-soldiers.
This is well-organized and gelled-up this system is.

These Europe-based orgs were parallely activated to promote anti-govt narrative. The most active entities, included Salil Shetty, Ritumbra Manuvie, Ather Zia, Ashoka Mody, Rohit Tripathi, Meghnad S, etc.
Points is, they're expanding footprints and impact.

The same actors (state, non-state, proxy) roll the balls and meddle elections, manipulate public opinion and collectively make a regime change operation.
The usual front-runners in India are just useful idiots for them.

Now, Indian elections are over. USA will go through the ballot in Nov'24. The gamers are already on white-board. Strategies and propaganda is being planned out. The actors will try hard to keep Trump away, just like they did for PM Modi.
