By unilaterally installing a government led by Hamdok/Taqqadum to complete what Hamdok started while in office. The West knows with a high degree of certainty that Taqqadum will never win at the ballot, especially now after their alliance with the RSF came to light

To make room for integrating Israel into the region. As a Western outpost, Israel has an expansionary strategy in the region. Eliminating the influence of Islam would facilitate its expansion.

4. What is the US willing to do to achieve its vision for Sudan?
Allow RSF to act with impunity & turn a blind eye to genocide, humanitarian crises, & destruction of economic and social infrastructure. This mirrors the US reaction to Israel's actions in Gaza.
