OK things move fast
Google has updated Gemini with great data analysis capabilities.
You can now upload Excel, Sheets and CSV files to analyze and visualize your data.
Here's an overview of how to do it without any formulas:
1. Import your data
Click on the "+" icon in Gemini Advanced.
Select one or more data files from your Drive or computer.
Type your 1st prompt for Gemini to analyze your data.
E.g.: "What is the best-selling product in New York, and in what quantities?"
2. Generate charts
Ask Gemini to visualize your data and create an interactive chart.
You can modify the type of chart, the name of the axes, etc.
E.g.: "Create a chart to visualize the quantities sold in each city.
Note: access the table corresponding to the chart.
3. Multiple file analysis
It's now able to analyze and cross-check data from several files at the same time.
Import the ones you're interested in and analyze them simultaneously.
Here I'm asking for the average total price and the average InsuredValue to from 2 separate files.
Glad these features are finally available in Gemini.
This will greatly facilitate data analysis, especially for the Sheets.
The race continues!
