Monday - 06.05.2024 #NQ
We had a no-news day and only chopped around. So, no setup presented itself.

Tuesday - 07.05.2024 #NQ
- Price came back into a discount (15min range) and a 15min FVG
- Displacement higher created two FVGs
- Market Structure Shift
- Price came back into a discount below the FVGs
- Long entry at the 50% level for a lower risk targeting the low-hanging objective - 1.0R
- Target 2 - 1.55R
In my opinion, this trade is more of an 'advanced' play. When you start with this model, try to only focus on Liquidity levels, and later on, you will start to identify plays off of imbalances too; like in this example.
The same trade also happened on the 5min and 3min TF - study!

- Buyside Liquidity (High of Day) taken and also rejected 1H FVG
- Displacement lower created two FVGs
- Market Structure Shift
- Price came back into a premium to the first FVG
- Short entry at the low of the first FVG targeting the low-hanging objective - 1.45R
- Target 2 - 3.5R
- Target 3 (50% of the 15min range) - 6.89R
- Target 4 (High of 15min discount FVG) - 7.84R
This trade shows that no matter how far the trade moves against you, you should always stick to your pre-defined plan (price was 1 tick away from SL).
