My digital course sales have grown to $193,023 in the last 30 days.
That's an 11.7% improvement from the previous 30.
It's all from a simple monetization strategy.
Steal it for your business here:
There are more than just monetary benefits to this:
1. It’s easier to focus.
2. It’s easier to create relevant content.
3. You’re sales will be way more natural.
4. You’ll show off your deep expertise.
Let's dive in ↓
1. Create a Hub piece of long-form content:
We’re going to start with a 'hub' piece of long-form content like a:
- Newsletter
- Podcast
- Video
Mine is my weekly newsletter, The Saturday Solopreneur.
In January, I wrote this issue about optimizing your LinkedIn for 2024.
2. Chop your Hub content into 6 Spokes:
After that, I want to create social media posts related to that particular issue.
These will be the “spokes” of our hub and spoke model.
There are 6 pieces of spoke content that I love creating:
My 6 favorites are:
- Advice
- Observations
- Twitter threads
- Contrarian takes
- Past vs. present
- Listicles
With this model, you no longer have to ask “What should I write about today?”
You just lean on the Hub content.
Our Hub and Spoke model now looks like this:
3. Stagger the content over 12 weeks:
I do this because I don’t want to talk about the same thing everyday.
But, whenever I post I can easily link back to the relevant newsletter.
For example, I scheduled the “advice” piece to be published 12 weeks later, on April 17th:
This post generated over 91,200 impressions from readers who are interested in LinkedIn.
But, remember, our goal is to move them from impression to website visitor.
So, next…
4. Point social content back to the Hub piece with a CTA:
Point the CTA at the end, back to the relevant newsletter.
If they want to learn more, they can click and dive deeper into my LinkedIn advice.
Relevancy.
5. Results:
Of those 91,200 impressions on that LinkedIn post 509 people entered my website on that specific newsletter issue and started reading.
You can see that clearly in my analytics below:
And every newsletter issue I write positions my products inside of them.
Nothing aggressive.
Just informative:
Of those 509 people who entered my website on April 17th, 204 went to my landing page and 18 purchased The LinkedIn OS.
This yielded $1,782 in net revenue.
By using this strategy, I rarely have to ask people to buy my products.
Instead, it becomes a simple numbers game:
Impression → visitor → product view → $
No sales tactics.
No tacky promotions.
No aggressive pressure.
Just a hub-and-spoke model that drives $$.
That's a wrap!
