5. Thiruthani Murugan Temple - Thiruthani, Thiruvallur district.
Murugan got back his inner peace here after the war with the asuras. The name Thiruthani means "blissful repose" and it is here that Murugan met Valli and fell in love. Murugan & Sri Valli got married here.
