ADR has approached SC with a contempt petition against the SBI for "deliberately disobeying" the deadline set in the electoral bonds case by not submitting info to the ECI
ADR stands for transparency in electoral funds, but people should know who funds ADR!
A Thread👇
As available in public domain, here are the top donors of ADR👇
1. Ford Foundation
2. Omidyar Network India Advisors Private Ltd.
3. Sir Dorabji Tata Trust
4. Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiatives
5. Vikram Sarabhai Foundation
6. Thakur Family Foundation, Inc

And guess what? ADR even has an indirect George Soros link
Hivos, an org., has funded ADR in 2014-15!
Hivos has worked with Soros’ OSF, since 2005. The partnership started with culture and the arts in Central Asia and moved into the Transparency & Accountability areas.

Another interesting name that funds ADR is the Thakur Family Foundation, founded by Dinesh Thakur
It was recently revealed by Disinfolab that Thakur has been promoting an anti-Indian pharma campaign!

We wonder why these US-based orgs never said anything about the 2000 Florida Election?
The 2020 US Election mandate is still debatable to this day and the entire world knows about it. Do they fund any sort of activism to encourage more transparent practices in US elections?

So, we ask this QUESTION
Why are all these US-based firms interested in India and its elections? Even when one of them has been asked by India to wind up its operations at the end of 2024!
