Summer தொடங்கும் முன்னையே டிசம்பர் மாதம் முதலே நல்ல AC suggest செய்யுங்கனு கேட்க ஆரம்பிச்சிட்டாங்க . அதுவும் ஒரு விதத்தில் சரி தான் கோடைகாலத்தில் AC விலை எல்லாம் fixed ஆ இருக்கும். பெரிய discount அல்லது offer எல்லாம் கிடைக்காது.
முதலில் நான் AC Expert எல்லாம் இல்லை என்பதை முதல் வரியிலேயே சொல்லிடறேன். இந்த பதிவு முழுக்க முழுக்க என் சொந்த அனுபவத்தில் மட்டுமே எழுதறேன். எங்களுக்கு இரண்டு வீடு இருக்கு, அதில் நாங்க இதுவரைக்கும் பயன் படுத்திய AC (Lloyd, Bluestar, LG), இன்னும் பயன் படுத்திட்டு இருக்கும் AC ( Carrier, Onida, Hitachi and Samsung ) , மற்றும் எங்க Commercial பில்டிங் ல ஒரு IT company இருக்கு, இதில் 7 AC புதியதாக வாங்கி பயன் படுத்திட்டு இருக்காங்க (Voltas,Panasonic and Daikin) ... இவை எல்லாம் சேர்ந்து கொடுத்த அனுபவத்தை வைத்து தான் இந்த பதிவு

இந்த படத்தை பார்த்தால் இங்க மார்க்கெட் ல என்ன மாதிரி AC எல்லாம் இருக்கு னு புரியும். இது இல்லாமல் Ceiling , Floor Mounted, Portable னு நிறைய category இருக்கு. ரொம்ப confuse ஆகாமல், நாம் இன்னிக்கு பார்க்க போறது split AC மட்டும் தான்.

இதை பற்றி எந்த கடையிலும் explain செய்ய மாட்டார்கள். ஒரு சின்ன உதாரணம் சொல்றேன். நீங்க ஒரு சில சினிமா தியேட்டர்ல கவனித்து இருப்பீர்கள் , அங்க AC போட்டு இருக்காங்களா இல்லையா ? னே தெரியாது. அப்படி வெக்கையா இருக்கும். காரணம் அங்க நிறைய பேர் இருந்திருப்போம். அதே தியேட்டர் ல கூட்டம் குறைவா இருக்கும் போது போனால், குளிர் நடங்கும். இதே concept தான் நம்ம வீட்டிலும். நீங்க AC உங்க வீட்டு bedroom க்கு போடறீங்க என்றால் பிரச்சனை இல்லை. அதுவே உங்க வீட்டு livingroom அல்லது office போன்ற இடத்தில் AC போடறீங்க என்றால் கண்டிப்பா இதை கவனத்தில் கொள்ள வேண்டும். நிறைய பேர் வந்து போகும் இடம் என்றால் கொஞ்சம் அதிக TON இருக்கும் AC தேர்வு செய்வது நல்லது .

Energy Efficiency :
Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) : ஒரு AC எவ்ளோ மினசாரம் பயன் படுத்துதது என்பதை பொருத்து இந்த BEE ஒவ்வொரு product க்கும் ஒரு ஸ்டார் rating கொடுப்பாங்க. இது ஒவ்வொரு இரண்டு அல்லது மூன்று ஆண்டுக்கு ஒரு முறை மாறிட்டே இருக்கும். இந்த Rating எந்த ஆண்டில் இருந்து எந்த ஆண்டு வரை வழங்கி உள்ளனர் என்று கவனிக்க வேண்டும்.. இது தெளிவாக AC label ல குறிப்பிட்டு இருப்பார்கள். ஒரு வேலை அந்த label இல்லை அல்லது தேதி குறிப்பிடவில்லை என்றால் பழைய மாடல் AC யை offer னு சொல்லி உங்க கிட்ட விற்க பார்க்கறாங்கனு அர்த்தம்.

ISEER Rating and Star Rating :
ISEER – Indian Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio. இப்போ ஒரு AC க்கு எவ்ளோ Input power கொடுக்கறோம் , அது எந்த அளவுக்கு Output Power திருப்பி கொடுக்குது என்பதற்கு தகுந்த மாதிரி அந்த Difference என்னனு calculate செய்வது தான் Efficiency Ratio னு சொல்லுவாங்க.
ரொம்ப technical ஆக எல்லாம் தெரிஞ்சிக வேண்டாம். Higher ISEER rating is Higher the Efficiency.
Short ஆ சொல்லனும்னா குறைந்த மின்சாரத்தை பயன் படுத்தி அதிக cooling capacity கொடுப்பது தான் இந்த ISEER rating னு மனதில் வெச்சுக்கங்க.
இப்போ இரண்டு AC உங்களுக்கு ரொம்ப பிடிச்சு இருக்கு.. இதில் எதை தேர்வு செய்வது னு குழப்பம் இருக்கு என்றால்? இந்த இரண்டு AC யின் ISEER Rating எவ்ளோ னு பார்த்து, அதில் எது அதிகமா இருக்கோ, அதை தேர்வு செய்யுங்க.
Star Rating:
இந்த ISEER rating தான் star rating ஆ என்று கேட்டா கண்டிப்பா கிடையாது. எவ்ளோ ISEER rating இருந்தால் எவ்ளோ STAR rating கொடுக்கலாம் னு முடிவு செய்வது AC company கிடையாது.. இதை முடிவு செய்வது நம் அரசாங்கம் (Government). இப்போ 2024 விதி படி நம்ம Government என்ன செஞ்சிட்டாங்கனா ? இனிமேல வர போகும் AC க்கு Energy Efficiency ஐந்து அல்லது அதற்கு மேல் இருந்தால் மட்டும் தான் 5 STAR கொடுக்க முடியும் னு சொல்லிடாங்க .. அப்படி னா நீங்க புரிஞ்சிக்க வேண்டிய மிக முக்கிய விஷயம் என்னனா , இப்போ இருக்கும் 3 star rating AC எல்லாம் 2017 – 19 வருடம் வெளிவந்த 5 STAR AC யை விட சிறந்தது .
இந்த ISEER மற்றும் STAR rating பற்றி ஏன் இவ்வளவு விளக்கம் கொடுத்திருக்கேன் என்றால், நீங்க வாங்க போகும் AC யின் விலையில் இந்த இரண்டும் தான் மிக முக்கிய பங்கு வகிக்கும். 3 star AC க்கும் 5 Star AC க்கும் விலை வித்தியாசம் 10 ல இருந்து 15 ஆயிரம் வரை கூட இருக்கும் . இந்த காசை மிச்சம் செய்ய தான் உங்களுக்கு இவ்வளவு தூரம் சொல்லி இருக்கேன்.

இந்த மாடல் மட்டும் 1 ton – 5 star AC . காரணம் இந்த மாடல் தான் சமீபத்தில் எங்கள் IT company ல 4 வாங்கி மாட்டி இருக்காங்க. எனக்கு தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் Voltas அனுபவம் இல்லை என்பதால், இந்த நல்ல மாடல் suggest செஞ்சிருக்கேன். நான் அந்த IT company owner கிட்ட கேட்டேன், ஏன் Voltas வாங்கறீங்கனு ? அதற்கு அவர் , இதற்கு முன் இருந்த company ல ஐந்து வருடமா பயன் படுத்தறோம் சார். எந்த பிரச்னையும் வந்தது இல்லை . Installation மட்டும் கேவலமா இருக்கும், கூட இருந்து வேலை வாங்கனும் .. ஆனா சர்வீஸ் ல எந்த குறையும் இல்லை னு சொன்னார். அவர் சொன்ன மாதிரியே இவங்க புது company க்கு install செய்ய வந்தவங்க professional ஆ நடந்துக்கல. install செஞ்ச பிறகு தண்ணீர் லீக் ஆச்சு , மீண்டும் கூப்பிட்டு தான் சரி செய்தார்கள். இப்போ எந்த பிரச்னையும் இல்லை. சரி இந்த மாடல் ல என்ன எல்லாம் இருக்கு னு பார்ப்போம் .
