Mamata Banerjee continually proves to be a detriment to West Bengal and Bengali Hindus, as evidenced by the TMC's disgraceful actions and the erosion of democracy in the region. The recent revelations from Sandeshkhali have sparked outrage, drawing comparisons to the horrors of Noakhali for Hindu Bengali women.

In an interview, women from Sandeshkhali shed light on the true nature of TMC and Sheikh Shahjahan. Despite the grave humanitarian crisis and mistreatment of women, Mamata Banerjee and her allies enforced Section 144 in North 24 Parganas to maintain their grip on power. This highlights the alarming depths to which Mamata Banerjee's administration has descended in West Bengal.
Union Minister Smriti Irani translated the Bengali testimonies of these terrified and abused women, shedding light on the profound horror experienced by married Hindu women in Sandeshkhali.
Sheikh Shahjahan and his associates would target young and beautiful married Hindu women in the area, forcibly or coercively taking them away to satisfy their lust until their desires were fulfilled. If husbands attempted to protest or file a complaint, they were bluntly informed that they had no rights over their wives, unable to inquire about their whereabouts, use, or duration of captivity.
The sheer brutality inflicted upon the women of Sandeshkhali by Sheikh Shahjahan and his accomplices transformed their lives into a harrowing nightmare.
Additionally, grievances from the residents of Sandeshkhali and North 24 Parganas include the abuse and degradation of Hindu women, encouragement of demographic changes through the porous Bangladeshi border, occupation of tribal lands, and extortion of money for using public spaces or ponds, resembling a form of taxation akin to 'jizya' in the region under Shahjahan's influence.
In response to the shameful revelations from Sandeshkhali, the district administration enforced Section 144, not to maintain law and order, but potentially to stifle dissent. Acting on directives from CM Mamata Banerjee, the police seem complicit in aiding Sheikh Shahjahan in finding a scapegoat for the atrocities.
The widespread mistreatment and exploitation of women by TMC leaders epitomize Mamata's oppressive rule in West Bengal. Despite police arresting Sheikh Shahjahan's aide, Uttam Sardar, who remains wanted by investigating agencies and enjoys Mamata's protection, he is likely the sacrificial lamb offered by Mamata to quell growing public outrage against TMC.
Interestingly, Hazra, another accused and right-hand man, was not suspended, nor was Shahjahan, the main accused wanted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). This reflects the typical TMC drama devoid of justice.
Despite protests from women, Mamata has failed to acknowledge the abuse. The West Bengal Commission for Women's response appears superficial, merely forming a panel of 10 members to investigate the allegations.
While Mamata pledges justice for all accused, TMC has only suspended Uttam Sardar, not the others accused by the women of Sandeshkhali. This suggests Sheikh Shahjahan wields considerable influence, securing Mamata's silence and protection, whether he assaults ED officials or perpetrates mass rapes on his constituents.
