#ONEPIECE Theory 🐸🔮
“Trafalgar and the Willie Nelson Touch”
🌀🧵The Death of Law🧵🌀
#ONEPIECE1093
Welcome to my eighth #ONEPIECE theory!
In todays work, I will be attempting to locate and analyze possible historical influences on the character:
🌀Trafalgar D. Water Law 🌀
🐸🔮 Will all roads lead to his death?😰 Tag along and find out!🔮🐸
Allow me to begin our tale in the midst of battle - imagine you’re standing proud on your Gun Ship, cannon fire and musket balls whizzing around you like flies -
If you don’t win this battle - the whole of Britain could be lost, stolen by the combined might of France and Spain
All eyes look to you through spy glasses - beads of sweat fly and merge with salty ocean waters -
All eyes look for your command… they look for….
“The Nelson Touch”
Your hand raises in the predetermined signal, and all Captains know the time for Victory has arrived🐸🔮
Your name? One of the “greatest naval commanders in history” -
📍Lord Admiral Horatio Nelson, Duke of Bronte and Victor of Trafalgar📍
It was due to this man’s decisiveness and battle plans that the Battle at Cape Trafalgar was won - even though they were outnumbered!🏴‍☠️
In order to connect this figure to Trafalgar Law - lets take a closer look at the way the “Nelson Touch” is described in various pieces of literature! 🐸🔮🌀
“When I came to explain to them the “Nelson Touch,” it was like an ⚡️ELECTRIC SHOCK⚡️….it must succeed.”
“Electric Shock” you say ?😏⚡️
The term “Nelson Touch” was used during the Battle of Trafalgar.
This term referred to not only the specific signal Nelson gave to begin the flank of the combined French/Spanish, but also Nelson’s level of charisma and influence over his peers!
The first chapter of the book titled, “Trafalgar” is called “Dawn”… it also concludes with a chapter titled “Storm” 👀🐸🌀
Check out some of the fantastical images contained within this book!🤩🌟
Why did I circle “Atlantic”?… more on that later 😏
Take a look at some of the names of the Gun Ships and Warships that waged a grand battle on that day!
For example we see:
1. Pluton
2. Mars
3. Neptune
4. Conqueror
5. San Juan
6. Royal Sovereign
7. Thunderer
I MEAN PLUTON?😂😂🐸🔮💙
This final battle was won by Nelson, and due to his bravery and battle tactics, this would-be invasion was snuffed out like a campfire 🔥🐸🔮🌀
But…
🚨He lost his life in order to achieve Victory (⬅️also the name of his ship)🚨
He was shot through by a - “French Shapshooter”
My first conclusions/predictions for this whacky theory before we move to the second half 🐸🔮
1. The battle for Trafalgar, fought in the Atlantic sea, may have had heavy influence on Oda Sensei when drafting Law’s character / The Final War - even other battles fought by Law
2. Law will be responsible for winning - (the greatest naval battle in #ONEPIECE HISTORY!) however he will be forced to use the ultimate power of his fruit? - and die because of it !? (Final War?)
3. The “Electric Nelson Touch” may refer to Laws signature electric moves like “Puncture Wille” or “Shock Wille” 🐸🔮
So why have I titled this theory “The Willie Nelson Touch”? 🐸🔮
Allow me to bridge us over into the next half of my theory - one that seeks to further identify Oda Sensi’s inspirations behind Law and his name/abilities
I’m going to focus on Law’s “electric” abilities 👀🌀
But first… who is Willie Nelson?😂🌀
Well he is an American country singer in fact! And he happens to share the same last name as one of the best Navy Commanders in our history - Nelson!
How might these two things connect back to Mr. D Water Law?👀
Wellll…..
Willie Nelson has an album titled :
“Shotgun Willie” - this could be direct inspiration for Law’s moves like : “Puncture Wille” and “Shock Wille”
Nelson also released songs titled, “Touch me” or albums like - “Wanted! OutLAWS”
Did you know he is also a movie actor?👀😏🐸🔮
How about the first film he was in?
It’s title ?… oh just ⚡️“Electric Horseman” ⚡️not like that links everything together… right ?😂😏🔮🐸🌀
How about other films like “Honeysuckle ROSE (Rosinante),
Or even the outLAW movie - “Barbarosa” (famous pirate with a similar name)🔮
How about the fact that Willie Nelson signed to “Atlantic Records”?
Can you recall when we discussed the usage of the word “Atlantic” in the first half of the theory ?👀🐸🔮👀
This may link to the “Water” Law
I’m well aware how far this reach is - LOOK AT OUR MC FOR GODS SAKE
🚨Will Trafalgar Law share the same fate as Horatio Nelson in his final battle?
Is it possible that Oda Sensei used the battle at Trafalgar to inspire Laws character?
Does Willie Nelson inspire Law’s character?
I hope I have pointed you towards the answers to these questions🚨
Thank you for coming to another one of my whacky theories! I hope I was able to make you smile today - and I hope you learned something about the history of our world! 🐸🔮🌀💙⚡️🤩
