I'm Davy Van Den Berg, a 22-year-old football player with Pec Zwolle in the Dutch 2nd League. My journey to Islam began with the pain of losing my mother, pushing me to seek answers about life, death, and what comes next.
During that tough time, a Muslim friend played recitations of the Holy Quran in his car, and it deeply resonated with me. I felt comforted, leading me to explore Islam. Despite initial challenges, I embraced the faith, finding peace and joy in praying.
Sharing my conversion with my family wasn't easy; initially, I prayed in seclusion. Now, they respect my choice, understanding the positive impact Islam has had on my life. I proudly embrace my Muslim identity, unafraid of death, and dedicated to serving my Almighty God.
My advice to those curious about my journey is to explore the Holy Quran – it made a profound difference in my life.
