Despite the numerous (sometimes quality) #research topics implemented by #undergraduate and #Master's students in #Cameroon, crucial data from Cameroon is still underrepresented and underreported in most databases. ๐
Despite the numerous (sometimes quality) #research topics implemented by #undergraduate and #Master's students in #Cameroon, crucial data from Cameroon is still underrepresented and underreported in most databases. ๐
Usually, before conducting #research for graduation purposes, students will highlight data gaps, as what this research question had never been investigated and answered before, whereas of course IT HAD! ๐โ
However, because the results were not published either in online (university) repositories or, most importantly, in Scientific Journals, they could not be accessed. ๐ฐ๐
This unavailability of conducted study results in online repositories or databases hampers their utilization for evidence-based decision-making by policymakers. ๐ซ๐
Revisiting #university curricula to include #ScientificWriting is crucial if we are to handle this #SYNDROME and harness the results of sometimes daunting, resource- and time-consuming studies conducted. ๐๐ก
