In this thread we're going to cover:
0 - Customer's dream outcome
1 - Identify all obstacles
2 - Obstacles into solutions
3 - Ways to deliver solutions
4 - Trim it down
5 - Putting it together
Step 0: Customer's dream outcome
Your offer is built around your customer's dream outcome.
(If you don’t have that defined yet, do some research to find it out: ex. poll on X, user interviews)
In our example:
Step 1: Identify all obstacles
Your customer will encounter a lot of obstacles (or perceived problems) on their way to their dream outcome.
We will first try to identify ALL of them in detail.
Step 2: Obstacles into solutions
Now we take all the obstacles and turn them into potential solutions.
These solutions will be added to our offer to make it appear much stronger.
Step 3: Ways to deliver solutions
Next, we're going to explore different ways in which we can offer each of these solutions.
Repeat this step for all the solutions identified in step 2.
Step 4: Trim solutions
We now have have a huge list of ways to deliver the solutions to our customer.
Now we’ll want to trim down, so that only the high value and low cost solutions stay in our offer.
Step 5: Putting it together
We've now kept only the best (and realistic) solutions.
All that’s left now is to assemble all of the parts and put them into our one grand slam offer.
