@JeromeAdamsMD 3) This surging official hospitalization numbers don’t lie. Its not just elderly - non-elderly adults are seeing hospitalization surges too. It’s honestly also shocking to see ICU numbers doubling in NY as well, especially so soon.
@JeromeAdamsMD 4) #EG5 is soon to be the dominant strain all while other major variants are mostly fading. It’s highly likely EG5 #Eris is becoming a top contributor to hospitalizations, and will continue to cause more havoc as it becomes dominant nationwide and in many other countries.
