The Pirahã are the apex Millers Around, but they share many or all of these characteristics with many other “primitive” groups: a shocking disregard for anything other than day to day survival, almost no culture to speak of, and an almost comical degree of xenophobia.
The most interesting thing that @Paracelsus1092 highlights in this thread is their ambivalence towards the notion of a fixed personal identity: this is very common in many cultures which are more heavily tribal, even if it isn’t as overtly expressed.
