It is to be noted that they waited exactly until the 24 hour ceasefire ended before their operations. This is in line with the SAF's history of respecting the ceasefire agreements much more than the RSF, and waiting with major offensives until the ceasefires are no longer active.
Although both sides violate the ceasefires routinely, I believe the constraint of the SAF shows in respect of not launching major operations during ceasefires should be noted, especially as the RSF does not share the same deliberations when planning their attacks.
(1) I already covered the specifics of the Al-Halfaya offensive in my last thread. In short, the SAF successfully took the Eastern side of the Al-Halfaya Bridge, as well as Alkadroo, El Droshab and Alsamrab. This is still the case as of writing this.

It appears that the success of the SAF yesterday was based largely on their well-coordinated use of airpower to support ground operations, and an overwhelming amount of attacks that the RSF simply failed to fully respond to in all areas.
These advances also mark a significant change in the direction of the conflict, as the SAF had previously been on the defensive.
I'll post more updates as I receive more information. You can view the full interactive map here: google.com
Note: One interesting detail is that the SAF launched this elaborate multi-front offensive coincidentally right after repulsing an RSF attack across Al-Halfaya Bridge. It could be that they tricked the RSF into attacking somehow, or that they had intel on RSF operations.
