I think it's possible that RSF will keep trying to use MC Nimir Bridge to supply their forces, or will maybe try to keep crossing Army Road. However I think their resupply capabilities have been impacted. SAF might be in a good position to attempt another attack on the Palace.
Also on the purpose of the videos: I think the SAF are trying to distract from their loss of the Air Defense HQ offices. This is not usually the image Al-Burhan is trying to present as, which suggests to me that this is more of an emergency morale boost.
Correction: After consulting with someone with experience in media, I think a visit like this would have been planned at least a week in advance. It's unlikely to be about the Air Defense HQ specifically, and more likely to boost low morale in general.
