1-British Navy seized Iranian shipment of weapons on way to terrorist Houthi militia,carrying Iranian-made Dehlavieh anti-tank guided missiles &medium-range ballistic missiles parts, confirms escalation of Tehran regime's arms smuggling to Houthis in violation of intl resolutions
2-The Joint Maritime Forces intercepted 7 shipments in past 3 months, seizing 5,000 weapons, 1.6 million rounds of ammunition, 7,000 approximate fuses for missiles, 2,100KG of fuel used to launch rocket-propelled grenades, 30 anti-tank, guided missiles & ballistic missiles parts
3-Iran regime's escalation of arms smuggling to Houthi militia confirms its intentions to abort intl deescalation efforts & restore truce, &undermining peace in Yemen, using militia as proxy to destabilize security & stability, spread chaos & terrorism &threaten intl interests.
4- We appreciate efforts of Joint Naval Forces, led by US &British Royal Navy, for their role in thwarting Iranian arms smuggling, &call for support Yemeni Coast Guard forces to combat terrorism, arms and drug smuggling operations and other illegal activities.
5- We call on intl community, UN &SC permanent members to take a firm stand &steps to stop Iranian activities that destabilize regional & intl peace &security, as a flagrant violation of intl laws & resolutions, &a blatant challenge to its efforts to impose peace in Yemen.
