Our Hon PM Thiru @narendramodi avl has gone the distance in Srilanka where no other leader across the world had gone previously to deliver projects to a neighbouring country to further our civilisational ties.
His two visits to Srilanka in 2015 & 2017 are both historic. (1/14)

In 2017, India extended financial assistance of $45.27 million for upgrading the Kankesanthurai Harbour in the Northern province.
This official port of exit & entry will soon begin a ferry service to Karaikal & the bidding process for shipping services is on now. (6/14)
Malayaga Tamils, who migrated to Sri Lanka 2 centuries ago to work in Tea Plantations, had a sigh of relief after our Hon PM Thiru @narendramodi avl visited Nuwara Eliya, a hill town in the Central province.
45,000 houses for 5,50,000 LKR/ each were constructed (7/14)
and later handed over in December 2018.
Work completed for 4000 houses in Central & Uva provinces. Another 10,000 homes for Malayaga Tamils are in the pipeline. India has spent more than 31 Billion LKR on the housing project in Sri Lanka to date. (8/14)

Bringing the old civilization ties back is also a work in progress with recent renovation of the Thiruketheeswaram temple on Indian grant and the Rameswaram Sri Lanka boat service is also set to resume soon. (12/14)
To tide over the economic crisis the island country faced, our Hon PM extended a financial assistance of over 3.8 Billion dollars, including credit lines, a currency swap arrangement and sent a warship carrying essential drugs for the Sri Lankan people. (13/14)
