How to be a good money manager ?
1 ) Risk reward
• lets say risk is $100 , we are taking a 3R trade , that means if stoploss hits in that trade we lose $100 , if target hits in that trade we gain $300

• Question : If you took 10 trades , will you make more money with 100% winrate with 1RR or 60% winrate with 3RR ?
• Answer : you make more money with 60% winrate with 3RR than the 100% winrate with 1RR
• Question : If you took 10 trades , will you make more money with 100% winrate with 1RR or 60% winrate with 3RR ?
• Answer : you make more money with 60% winrate with 3RR than the 100% winrate with 1RR
3 ) Goal
• What financial problem do you have ?
Lets say rent = $2000 , we have to split our money goal into collective 10R . Risk = $200 , with a 3R model we can achieve this with 5 winners and 5 lossers = 10R per month , if your money goal is high risk according to that .
