@ElegantiaeArbit What is the point of having coitus? If Allah has decreed a child for you, your wife will become pregnant, whether you have intercourse or not.
What is the point of working/ doing business? Whatever sustenance Allah has decreed for you, you shall get it whether you work or not.

@ElegantiaeArbit The thing is we don't know what is written for us, and we have to strive to attain whatever benefits us, among the most powerful means of attaining good is thru Du'a.
Moreover whatever has been written, it has been written together its means.... 1/2

- A will engage in coitus, and then his wife will become pregnant.
- B will make Du'a and he will get the job.
- C will drink poison and will die from it
- D will study hard and will get good grades.
everything is written: the means and the ends!

@ElegantiaeArbit PS: Both having coitus and making Dua are means- they may or maynot bear fruit, but we have to try nevertheless.
Why does no one object to coitus as being a means using the same logic? Why is it Du'a only that is objected to?
Is it because of our weak Eeman in the unseen?
