3) I'm not going to sugarcoat things for likes and engagement.
Fundamentally crypto isn't in the best looking place in 2023 either.
All the talks of institutional adoption or crypto being a hedge to inflation or designed to withstand a financial crisis turned out to be wrong.

4) Crypto did EXACTLY the same as the stock market.
It collapsed as inflation soared and followed the negative effect from the federal reserve their "quantative tightening" policy.
Just like any other risk asset, crypto was no different.

5) Unless Fed policy changes dramatically in the early part of 2023, we are not likely to see a shift in this sentiment.

6) Money is still a lot tighter than it was 2 years ago and while there will be recovery someday 2023 is still looking to be a tough year overall.
Interest rates remain high and not only needs to stop rising but also significantly drop again.

7) It's not all negative though.
It likely won't be as bad as 2022.
The worst really is behind us and even though 2023 won't be the BIG recovery many of us hoped, the market will take a more NEUTRAL approach.

8) 12k to 14k dollars looks like a ''go-all-in'' area.
While a big recovery rally doesn't look to be happening soon we can expect plenty of chop below 20k dollars.

9) Crypto bear markets can usually be split into three sections:
• Decline
• Stagnation
• Recovery

10) I said earlier that 2023 will likely be the year of taking positions and I stand by that.
While ''stagnation'' won't create the big profits many are hoping for it is the period of time where seeds are being planted.

11) I know this year has been tough for many.
Some individuals have only stepped into this market very recently in the middle of their first bull market.
Another year isn't what many of you hoped.
Any hopium won't force or change the market however.

12) Neither does liking all the bullish tweets and fueling your own hope or bias.
I get it, that's the easy part.
The best thing you can do however is play along and enlarge your time horizon.
