I’m seeing, tho, so much developer adoption, praising exactly its simplicity and dev fiendliness, with so many ways being built around its naivety that like a snow ball..

I agree with you, Bitcoin comparison is imperfect, but nobody knew what it was capable of in the beginning and it was a pet rock, a boring protocol for years

@pippellia @fiatjaf @TheRealTahinis @damusapp @jack That seemingly incapability, naivety, boringness, simplicity all applied to successfull protocols before that ended but being built in layers and being capable with much more things that was initially possible. We may be just undervaluing Nostr and overvaluing Web 5, perhaps.

I believe in Daniels vision.
But I’m super surprised and excited with what is happening to Nostr and I think this is a super compelling vision! 🙏🏻
