HPDC will enable local players, small and medium-sized enterprises in particular, to grow and expand across global markets.
It will also develop the Halal production industry in Saudi Arabia through partnerships with key local and international players.

HPDC aims to localize knowledge, technology, and innovation for the development of Halal products including food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. It also aims to promote opportunities for the industry by introducing services such as specialized advisory.
The launch of HPDC is in line with the #PIFstrategy 2021-2025, which aims to develop and enable the capabilities of key sectors in Saudi Arabia – including consumer goods and retail, and food and agriculture – to localize industries and improve the trade balance.
#PIF congratulates the Halal Products Development Company on the signing of a joint venture agreement with BRF, for the purpose of establishing a company in Saudi Arabia mandated to increase production in the poultry sector, and boost the localization of food manufacturing.
