Nirav Modi is in UK police Custody facing an extradition case. He is diagnosed with depression and is under Suicide watch. He defaulted on Rs 12000 crore from PNB which he got during 2011 under UPA govt.
Ironically it is Congress that has sent Retd High court Judge Abhay Thipsay, who recently joined the Congress party to London so he can defend Nirav Modi from the extradition process.
Earlier he was represented by Congress appointee ex Supreme Court judge Markandey Katju.
