In 1928, the Anti-Simon commission in the Central Province region was led by RSS leaders and Swayamsevaks.
On July 12, 1930, Dr Hedgewar, along with 800 people, proceeded to Pusad for the Satyagraha Movement & spent nine months in prison after his arrest. (2/5)

During the Quit India movement, RSS Swayamsevaks were shot dead but successfully established a parallel govt in Asthi-Chimur at the wrath of the Britishers. (3/5)

As part of the Quit India Movement RSS Swayamsevaks damaged the Delhi-Mujaffar Nagar railway line and made it inoperative for 2 months.
Congress senior leaders Jayaprakash Narayan, Sane Guruji & Aruna Asaf Ali, were even given asylum by RSS Swayamsevaks for days. (4/5)
