gmi: gonna make it.
ngmi: not gonna make it, mostly someone who is selling his #NFT for a loss or someone who doesn't understand it at all.
mint: create anything (ex: piece of art) on the #blockchain.
pfp: picture for profile.
bin: buy it now.
ath: all time high.
dyor: do your own research.
degen play: mint or buy NFT without DYOR.
aping in: mint or buy NFT without DYOR by copying someone.
fomo: (fear of missing out) mint or buy an NFT because you are afraid of missing out on the next big thing.
floor: lowest price in a collection.
ceiling: highest sale price in a collection.
alpha: private information from NFT experts and whales.
dao: decentralized autonomous organisation.
roadmap: document that maps out the goals and strategies of an NFT project.
gas war: when people increase their gas spending by paying more for ETH transaction fees to mint a hyped NFT project.
whitelist: people who are allowed to mint from a project on presale (before public launch). Mostly benefit from minting without gas war and sometimes with lower mint price.
stealth mint: projects that launch their mints without making an announcement. Often used to avoid gas wars
paperhands: someone who sells his NFT fast for a low price.
diamond hands: someone hold his NFTs on bear and bull market.
bull market: period of time where the majority of people are buying, demand outweighs supply and prices are rising.
bear market: period of time where supply is greater than demand, confidence is low, and prices are falling.
blue chips: projects that have been around for a while with a dedicated team and strong community (mostly with high floor price).
rug pull: projects where the team run off with the mint money without delivering on what they promised on the roadmap.
