Some myths they keep repeating and even edited wikipedia too, ss of which are used in this video. Lets bust these myths. Thodi lambi story hai. first one is Surajmal captured Delhi in 1753. Truth: In 1753 mughal emperor was a weakling, his wazir was Safdar Jung
same guy who later became Nawab of Awadh later, and whose son shuja took part in 3rd Panipat from Abdali's side. Coming back to safdar jung, some jealous nobles instigated feeble emperor Ahmad Shah Bahadur against safdar jung. He sacked Safdar jung, safdarjung
declared rebellion against his emperor. He has good support and army. He besieged the city of delhi. He called many people to his side, in this was surajmal too. He was kind lf mercenary of Safdar jung and was fighting under him. Safdarjung tried too much but
couldnt take the city, both parties fought several skirmishes which these people call battles, without any decisive advantage to single party. Later came Jaipur maharaja Madho singh, and he patched up truce between safdarjung and emperor and thus ended his rebellion.
Safdarjung went back to Awadh. Jats too left. And this thing is called as "Capture of Delhi" solely by Jats, lol. Neither Jats were fighting as independent, they were under safdarjung and neither delhi was captured.
Second one is capture of Agra fort, again this has been documented as gift from Abdali. Some months before 3rd Panipat, Abdali asked Surajmal to not take side of marathas and he will be given Agra fort. Same deal was not given by marathas and hence he left maratha camps
as commanded by Abdali, he didn't take part the battle. After Abdali won the battle, surajmal according to the deal took possession of the agra fort. Now coming to defeating maratha, rajput, mughals, rohillas. He gave tribute to marathas, he considered himself as
vassal of Jaipur. He was served under Safdar Jung who himself was Mughal's servant. And about rohillas, well read how did Surajmal die ?
Forgot abt abdali, well he had no power to defeat abdali, he sent letters to abdali asking for forgiveness
