هي أداة تدقيق أمان مفتوحة المصدر وموثوق بها مصممة لمشتقات Linux و macOS و UNIX مثل FreeBSD و OpenBSD.
يتم استخدام الاداة لعدد من الأغراض بما في ذلك تدقيق الأمان ، واكتشاف الثغرات الأمنية وحلها ، وأخطاء التكوين.

ايضا يمكن اكتشاف أخطاء التكوين مثل كلمات مرور حساب المستخدم الضعيفة أو أذونات الملفات غير المناسبة التي قد تعرض النظام للخطر في مواجهة خطأ.
فى هذه التغريدات سنتعرف طريقة تثبيت Lynis على توزيعة Ubuntu 20.04.
هناك عدة طرق لتثبيت Lynis. يمكنك التثبيت من مستودعات Ubuntu

🔶Install the Lynis on Ubuntu
$ apt-cache policy lynis
إذا كنت ترغب في تثبيت أحدث إصدار من Lynis ، فإن أفضل طريقة هي تثبيته من مستودع Offical Lynis Community.
🔶To achieve this, first, update your system
$ sudo apt update

🔶Next, download the signing key
$ wget -O - packages.cisofy.com | sudo apt-key add -
🔶Next, enable the Lynis community repository as follows:
$ echo "deb packages.cisofy.com stable main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/cisofy-lynis.list

🔶الان قم بتحديث النظام مرة أخرى حتى يمكن إعلام النظام بالمستودع المضاف حديثًا.
$ sudo apt update
💢Now proceed to the next step in order to install Lynis.
🔶Finally, to install Lynis, use the following APT command:
$ sudo apt install Lynis

6⃣🔵🖥️🐧Lynis
🔶Once the installation is complete, verify the version of Lynis installed.
$ lynis show version
🔶You can verify if there is an available update as follows:
$ lynis update info
🔶To display the commands that you can run using Lynis, execute:
$ lynis show commands
