Dear Media Outlet,
Impending Massacre In Sudan Tomorrow!
Starting from the 25th of January 2021 a military coup took place in our country Sudan. This military coup came to put an end to a transactional government that was working
towards establishing a civilian democracy. A democracy we in Sudan have been aspiring to achieve for the last 4 generations, and accomplished three social revolutions in the process, in the 1960s, 1980s and last one in 2019, to be thwarted by military coups each time.
The dictatorships under military has cost our country enormously: it fueled a very long civil war, crippled the country economics and severed out ties to our neighbors and to the international community. And the Sudanese people at the moment we are sending this letter are
fighting against a new coup with their peaceful bodies risking their lives.
The military and Dagalo family militia have kills and injured dozens of people already. But the people of Sudan have a strong will to continue to protest especially on the 30th of October which is tomorrow.
Mass crowds will hit the streets in a clear and brave challenge to the military establishment in Sudan including its militias.
This military coup is organized by the national military elites, and by a criminal and very dangerous family of Dagalo. Dagalo family is lead by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo who is a vicious war lords with a long record for human rights abuses
in Darfour throughout the last three decades and also in Khartoum for the last couple of years including a massacre he committed in the heart of Khartoum on June 3rd 2019 killing more than 100 people in the bright day light. (en.m.wikipedia.org)
One of the only ways to raise the cost of killing our people and protect them is YOUR MEDIA COVERAGE!
If journalism has any meaning it will cover this extensively and we believe as your audience we have the right to demand your coverage of this events.
The internet connection has been widely cut inside Sudan because the coup leader don’t want for the images to reach the news and that tells you how much they are scared of the truth.
We will be happy to provide you with any further information upon your request.
