Its a fake painting. Maharana Amar Singh who never went to the mughal court in front of Jahangir the emperor will fall on the feet of his son and prince shah jahan. Lol. Thing is Jahangir was a delusional day-dreamer and wrote fancy imaginary thing which he couldnt do real life.
Here I am attaching two more paintings of Jahangir to let people know better. The first one is Jahangir and Persian emperor Shah Abbas meeting and Shah abbas is shown as submissive in front of Jahangir almost touching his feet and standing on a goat while Jahangir is stamding on
a lion and being shown as imposing personality. The truth is Shah Abbas and Jahangir were rivals and never met even once in real life. Second pic is Jahangir standing on a globe and shooting arrow on decapitated head of Malik Ambar, the slave general of Ahmadnagar.
Jahangir considered Ambar his arch rival and hated him to the core but Ambar succeeded in defeating his mughal army and foiled Jahangir's dream of conquering deccan. Truth is Jahangir never captured or killed Ambar and he died of old age, but in jahangir's day dreaming
fantasy painting it is shown as opposite. The dreams of drug addict painted by his artists are now sold as actual history. He wrote many such fanciful things in his autobiography, that doesnt match with actual historical events. Didnt want to discuss this small painting but
recently the painting has been used by some kangers to abuse Rajputs or Maharana. And now it is quoted by @AndColorPockeT so thought of writing this.
