of his thinking. In short Sadashivrao is saying before panipat that mother don't frighten me, who will face our 09 Lakh deccani lances (exaggerated of course). I will loot Ahmed Shah (Abdali) with sword in hand. And our paga (cavalry horses) will drink water at attock river
(Indus). I will bring begums to deccan from Kabul and will make them grind grain. Will make them leave meat eating and instead will be given pan to chew. So many Sakas (honourable rajput battle tradition of fighting till death or victory) will I do,
Like the famed Saka of Man Singh then I will return to deccan. And so on. So its clear from above passage that Sadashivrao wanted to achieve what Raja Man Singh of Amer did with Afghans. The Pachranga flag of Jaipur state has such legacy which could not be replicated by Marathas
even at the height of their power. And these neo-marathas are demeaning that very flag. These neo-marathas don't know that their ancestors like Shivaji considered Mirza Raja Jai Singh as a father figure and had huge respect for him, don't create fake history on the basis of
19th century forged letters though. Even their Peshwa Bajirao considered Sawai Jai Singh as his father. Such was the case with stalwarts of Maratha history whether it is Shivaji, Bajirao or Sadashivrao all respected Kachwaha house unlike neo-marathas who abuse same Kachwahas
because of their narrow view of history.
