⏩Voriconazole is a triazole antifungal agent which inhibits fungal cytochrome P450-dependent ergosterol synthesis (mediated via 14-alpha-sterol demethylation) resulting in a loss of ergosterol in the fungal cell wall.

💠Indications:-
⏩Aspergillosis, Invasive
⏩Candidemia
⏩Candidiasis of the esophagus
⏩Invasive candidiasis, Of the skin and infections in abdomen, kidney, bladder wall, and wounds
⏩Mycosis, Serious infections due to Scedosporium apiospermum and Fusarium species

🧔Adult :-
⏩Loading dosage, 6 mg/kg IV every 12 hours on day 1
⏩Maintenance dosage, 4 mg/kg IV every 12 hours OR 200 to 300 mg orally every 12 hours for 6 to 12 weeks depending on disease site, disease improvement, level of immunosuppression
🧔Adult :-
