The current war in 🇦🇫 has many internal factors, some groups fight for ideology, some fight for ethnicity, while some fight for power or capital.
Afghanistan has many diverse ethnicities, almost every ethnic group has different lifestyle, with different culture and values.

The 40+ years for war has changed the geopolitics of Afghanistan, where now, most minorities have transformed into powerful factions & stakeholders.

In my opinion, the ideal situation/scenario will be, when each ethnicity will get to decide their own legislations, their own curriculum, even their own police force. Where they themselves will protect their values.

Given how weak central authority is right now and how disjointed the social contract is, I think we need to first prioritize the formation of a social contract that bestows political legitimacy on the main government.

...that it can act to protect the territorial integrity of 🇦🇫. Once these two prerequisites are met, then we should move towards some form of decentralisation that caters to the political aspirations of the various Afghan groups.
