Grain elavator absolutely destroyed along with the surrounding area. The pressure within those from the fire would have been unbelievable.

Lets make this clear again, cause is still unknown, fireworks were clearly there, grain elavators will have only made the explosion worse, between those two it's a toxic mix for an explosion, let alone if there was anything else in the area.

Al-Mayadeen News quoting that nitrates were also in the vicinity of the explosion. At least 10 have been confirmed dead.

Preliminary report via @LBCI_NEWS talks of 2700 tonnes of confiscated ammonium nitrate in the #Beirut Port explosion, caused by a small welding process to prevent theft.
73 now confirmed dead due to the explosion, 3700 injured.
Multiple operations are currently underway to clear rubble from the explosion to look for survivers, the task of this considering the size of the blast area is massive.

I spent around 30/40 minutes looking at these images, reserve searched google, tineye, yandex, etc. They appear to match, as much as it pains me to say it

Drone footage released this morning of #Beruit Port shows the aftermath of the explosion and the crater created by it. The landslide of rubble from the grain silos leading into it.
Continued confirmations this morning that Fireworks were indeed stored next to the Ammonium Nitrate by the Director General of Lebanese Customs.

The Grain Silos worked a blast barrier, the force they must have taken from the blast is unreal. Dirt/earth can be seen sitting ontop of them.
