1-يُعد القطاع الزراعي من أهم القطاعات الاقتصادية في المملكة العربية السعودية،حيث تعتبر ركيزة أساسية في التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية،ولقد أولت القيادة الرشيدة اهتماماً متزايداً بالقطاع الزراعي #بقلمي
2-باعتباره قطاعاً حيوياً ولا يمكن الاستغناء عنه لعدة أسباب،الأول: أنه يوفر الغذاء واحتياجات الصناعات الغذائية،والثاني: لأنه يوفر فرص عمل دائمة ومستديمة للدخل،

3-والثالث : لأنه يؤدي إلى تحقيق الأمن الغذائي وتوفير احتياجات المملكة من السلع الأساسية ،والرابع: أن الاستثمار في قطاع الزراعة وتطوره يُدل على أهمية الزراعة باعتبارها وطن ،فالزراعة ترتبط بالأرض .#بقلمي
4-منذ القدم شكلت الزراعة المصدر الأول والأهم في تنمية المجتمع السعودي قبل اكتشاف النفط في العقد الثالث من القرن العشرين،ورغم توفر النفط والاستثمارات التي ترافقت معه، #بقلمي
5-إلا أن سياسات المملكة الاقتصادية لم تغفل عن تنمية القطاع الزراعي لأهميته الاقتصادية والتنمويةحيث ركزت رؤية المملكة 2030 إلى تطوير القطاع الزراعي،#بقلمي
6-وذلك من خلال إطلاق صندوق التنمية الزراعي برنامجاً لدعم استخدام التقنية الحديثة في الزراعة،
حيث تم رفع نسبة التمويل من 50 إلى 70% من قيمة القرض،وبفعل هذه الإجراءات فقد نمت المشاريع الزراعية بشكل ملموس، #بقلمي

8-ومشاريع الاستزراع السمكي، ومشاريع البيوت المحمية، إضافة لسلاسل الإمداد الخاصة بالمشاريع الزراعية ومشاريع التسويق الزراعي، وبرنامج التنمية الريفية والقروض التنموية الزراعية، إضافة إلى الاستثمار الزراعي في الخارج.#بقلمي
9-إن تقديم المملكة لتسهيلات ائتمانية في التمويل الزراعي شكل عامل نمو للقطاع الزراعي،ورافقه نمو الاستثمارات الزراعية وزيادة مساهمة الزراعة في الاقتصاد السعودي،#بقلمي
10-والذي يسعى جاهداً إلى تنويع مصادر الدخل القومي وتوسيع القاعدة الإنتاجية، ويعتبر القطاع الزراعي أحد أهم القطاعات التي يمكن لها أن تحقق هدف المملكة بزيادة ونمو الناتج غير النفطي. #بقلمي
