فيها منها نوعين واليوم بتكلم عن Staphylococcus
Morphology : staph show ➡️ gram positive cocci,non motile, non sporing, non capsulated.
🔴staphylococcus : فيه لها عدة أنواع ناخذهم حبه حبه
A👿- staph aerus ( coagulase psitive ): most improtanat human pathogen that can cause : impetigo, skin infection, systemic infection, bacteremia, pnemonia.

pyogenic infection : abcess, localized infection, toxin shock syndrome.
B👿- staph epidermids( coagulase negative ): found in skin، بنفرقها عن النوع الأول عن طريق coagulase, opportunistic infections, ممكن تروح لصمامات القلب وتسبب لي عدوى.
C👿- staph saprophyticus : urinary tract infection.
virulance factors including : cell wall assocaiated proteins and polymers , extracellular enzymes and toxins .
enzymes : coagulase enzyme, catalase,lipase.
toxins : leukocidin, hemolysin, enterotoxin.
toxins : leukocidin, hemolysin, enterotoxin.
عندنا نوع بعد وهذي أخطر نوع يختصرونها ب MRSA ⬅️ يعني satph. aerus لكنها مقاومة وعلاجها Vancomycin.
cultuer : 1- nutrient agar : s. aerus produce round,convex,well defined colonies, produce golden - yellow pigment.
2- blood agar: s. aerus produce clear zone " beta hemolysis "

3- macConkey agar: s.aerus produce small pink coloconies due to fermentation of of lactose
4- selective media : most strain of s. aerus ferment mannitol with acid production ➡️ yellow zone formation arround the colonies.
